As most fans know by now,the movies at the Memphian were
an adventure. Once-upon-a-time, ( love that )..Elvis got his
hands on a 'laugh box' . It was a battery powered thing,that
put out the most idiotic laugh you've ever heard. On at least
two occasions,he brought that thing to the movies. Just as the
movie got quiet,and serious,he turned that thing on. It carried
all over the theatre,and everybody cracked up,at the stupid
sound it made. Then Elvis started trying to imitate the laugh
box,and everybody cracked up at him...totally ruined the movie.
I don't know that anybody can tell ya what the movie was about.
Nobody cared. We all laughed so hard. MAN...we had some
good times.
